Happy New Year!

To all of our lovely friends and supporters...
We hope you've had a wonderful holiday season, filled with delicious food and great company. It's hard to believe that 2012 is almost over! This has been quite a year for us and we can't thank you enough for being a part of it. Whether you've sat at one of our dinners, bought some granola, helped out at the pottery studio or stopped by a market to say hi, your sweet support has meant the world to us. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were able to donate almost $1,000 this year to God's Love We Deliver and Hurricane Sandy relief through our supper club and granola sales, respectively. Looking forward, we've got a lot of exciting things coming up in the New Year - new products, new kitchen, new suppers, new places to find us - and we can't wait to share them with you! In the meantime, we just wanted to say thank you and wish you a happy and healthy 2013!

Divide & Conquer!

We were very busy bees this weekend - Jean hard at work in the pottery studio and Kate manning the table at both the Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg. As always, our amazing friends were on hand to help us out - Jean had a small army of volunteers rolling clay in the studio with her and Kate had tons of lovely visitors stop by the markets (some with lunch in tow!). All in all, a great weekend.

This was our last outdoor market for the season. Though we will certainly miss the gorgeous DUMBO skyline, we're excited to be moving indoors starting November 24th as part of the Holiday Market! Be sure to stop by and pick up some granola and pottery for those stockings!

Smorgasburg, Sunday after Sandy

What a wonderful day!  Thanks to everyone who came out to Dumbo for yesterday's market, we honestly didn't know what to expect.  We feel so very lucky to have weathered the storm surrounded by friends and internet access and heat and realize that so many others have some tough days, weeks, months ahead of them.  We will continue to donate 20% of all sales over the coming months to various relief efforts around the city.  Check back with us for more specific details surrounding our donation.  And keep up the good spirit NYC- forever a special city.

Hurricane Sandy

We are both so fortunate to have fared so well during Hurricane Sandy without losing power at either of our homes.  New York City is such a mess now, and our thoughts are with everyone who wasn't as lucky.  Hoping to be back in business with the rest of our city in the next few days.

Let's Eat In!

We were so thrilled to get an invitation to spend some time with the lovely Cathy Erdway on Heritage Radio as guests on her "Let's Eat In" segment this Monday. Recorded from the amazing Roberta's in Bushwick, we enjoyed delicious pizza and good company, discussing everything from our granola and pottery to our supper club and even our best date meals. It was a lot of fun and we're really grateful to Cathy and everyone at Heritage for being so incredibly gracious and giving us the opportunity. You can listen to the recording here.

And if you haven't already, be sure check out Cathy's great website Not Eating Out in NY, with tons of tasty recipes and reasons to start eating in!

Haven's Kitchen in Manhattan! Smorgasburg in Dumbo!

You guys!! So much happening this week!

We are so proud to announce that you can now find our pottery on the shelves of Haven's Kitchen in Manhattan. Their store is stocked with delicious food, ceramics and other beautifully curated kitchen items. They host amazing suppers and their event space is stunning.

We are also thrilled to be a part of Smorgasburg in Dumbo this Sunday. We will also be at The Brooklyn Flea on Saturday - come find us at one or both of those markets!

Thank you all for your endless support! None of this would be possible without our amazingly supportive friends and family!

Golden Heart Awards

We worked God's Love We Deliver Golden Heart Award ceremony this past Monday night honoring our sweet friend Cindy Little, Michael Kors and Ryan Murphy - such an amazing night raising money and awareness for such an important organization that is so dear to us. So we certainly didn't rock the red carpet like Gwyneth Paltrow or Bette Midler... but we had a blast!

Apple Picking!

After having so much fun picking cranberries, we thought it was only fitting that we pick our own apples for our new fall blend! So off we went to Harvest Moon Orchards in North Salem, NY to handpick some Pink Ladies, Golden Delicious and good ol' fashioned Macintosh. And of course, an apple picking trip wouldn't be complete without some warm apple cider donuts :)

Stop by the Brooklyn Flea on October 13th to taste our fall flavor!

Cranberry harvest 2012, eastern Massachusetts

Last weekend, we trekked up to Jean's family cranberry bogs in eastern Massachusetts to harvest the cranberries for our original blend granola.  The Gilmores so graciously spent the afternoon with us, teaching us about the harvest and the ins and outs of their process of growing the crop throughout the year. Their bogs were stunningly beautiful and it was a perfect day for a road trip.  We can't wait to dry this year's harvest for you all to enjoy.
